The Wiz is a musical retelling of The Wizard of Oz that follows Dorothy, a young woman from Kansas who is transported by a tornado to the magical land of Oz. On her journey to the Emerald City to meet the Wiz, she befriends a Scarecrow, Tinman, and Cowardly Lion, who each believe the Wiz can help them. Together, they must overcome obstacles and defeat the Wicked Witch of the West before learning there is “no place like home”
